  Chocolate Coconut Bites 

 

 

If you're a chocolate lover, you'll enjoy this healthy and guilt free treat. You can make these bites in advance and keep them in a freezer. No Sugar added, only good stuff!

Ingredients:

 

  • 12 pitted Dates

  •  1 cup Almond meal

  •  1/2 cup Coconut flakes, plus 1/3 cup extra for coating

  •  1/3 cup Coconut oil

  •  1/3 cup Organic Cacao powder

  •  1 tablespoon Chia seeds

Method:

 

1. Place dates in a medium bowl cover with water and leave it for an hour to soak, so they become soft and easy to mash.

2. Process dates, almond meal, shredded coconut, coconut oil, cacao powder and chia seeds until mixture comes together. Transfer to a bowl and leave it for 20 minutes for chia seeds to soften.

3. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls and coat with coconut flakes.
